Design For Beauty Salon

In this post I’ll show you the process of creating an ad for cosmetic and beauty salon. The main request of the client was to show the luxury of this salon. He give me some text, logo & this photos.
So, the creative process begins!
Step 1
First of all I search my clipart for background image, I decided to choose an image of golden textile with abstract texture. To be honest I look through more than 100 pictures, to find exactly what I was looking for. (Do you thing I need to share with all this backdrops with you?)
Step 2
Here we go! It was definitive step, because I find the way how all element (photos, text, logo, address) will be organized. There are two main photos of this salon which show us an interior of this place. Believe me for our small Russian town it’s very fresh and interest interior design.
Step 3
Now I need harmoniously combine photos and background:
1.)I cut the floor & the table on the top photo.
2) I change picture on TV screen to something more bear upon to beauty.
3) With stamp tool I draw a peace of sofa.
4) I divide bottom picture in to tow (see red line) & add gradient of transparency to one of the parts.
Step 4
When the picture became organic and well balanced, It’s time to add other photos and advertising text.
Step 5
To finish this magazine ad, I add logo with bright background to the top, address & license number at the bottom. That’s all. Client is happy, so am I.
